La Gente Café Breakfast & Brunch

I’m still doubting what’s the best way to describe this place. I have so many good words for it that I’d probably hit the character limit. First, I’ll say: lovely place — modern, cosy, comfortable, and warm. Though not as warm as the guy at the counter. Super nice and agreeable person. Cute as well. I went for a boring Americano, and he suggested I try another coffee — which absolutely hit the spot. Props to him for being a great salesperson. The eggs Benedict with avocado were to die for. I always thought they were too much of a hipster thing and had been denying myself the pleasure. That ended yesterday. What a blast! Beautifully presented, full of flavour, and fun to eat. Great food, great coffee, great people — a great experience overall. If I were from Oviedo, I’d surely become a regular.

Love this little cafe 3 minutes walk from our hotel Nuvo. Excellent eggs Benedict, fluffy waffles with thick bacons, and mushroom toast. Drip Coffee was smooth even though it's a lot more bright than we're used to. Gets busy really quick after opening.

Excellent service and everyone speaks English. My chai latte was spectacular and my husband’s batch coffee was perfectly brewed. The tuna melt looked great but I ate the huevos estrellados (sunny side up) with sour dough toast and coleslaw.

Everything was perfect, the flavor , the Benedictines had just the precise amount of sauce, the summer drinks are what you need (trust me) All the service team Excellent, trilingual , ambient and decoration . Please don’t miss the Frutos Rojos Pancakes And a Speciality Coffee (Solo doble)

Place is amazing! Atmosphere and staff so so nice ! Very reasonably priced. If you like specialty coffee-V60 was incredibly good and definitely try their summer coffee options.

The best cafe we found so far in Oviedo and even more. High quality. Homemade and even experimental fusion at its best. They even had high quality salt and pepper. Clean toilets. And so cozy, too. I loved it. The cold basil& strawberry infused coffee is interesting, that pistachio chocolate bar a healthy&nut ring way of sweet and the eggs Benedict a blessing.

Without any doubt, one of the best places in northern Spain, to serve an unforgettable breakfast or brunch. They have a wide variety of options and believe me, none of them will disappoint. The service is top notch, kind, friendly and easy going, but super quick and reliable. The cappuccino they serve is exactly how it should taste They will make you feel at ease and give extra love to your fur babies. We’d return anytime when around Oviedo
